Benefits of biobased fertilizers as substitutes for synthetic nitrogen fertilizers: Field assessment combining minirhizotron and UAV-based spectrum sensing technologies

چکیده
Recovery of biobased fertilizers derived from manure to replace synthetic is considered a key strategy close the nutrients loop for more sustainable agricultural system. This study evaluated nitrogen (N) fertilizer value five [i.e., raw pig (PM), digestate (DIG), liquid fraction (LFD), evaporator concentrate (EVA) and ammonia water (AW)] recovered an integrated anaerobic digestion–centrifugation–evaporation process. The shoot root growth maize ( Zea mays L.) under fertilization was compared with application mineral N fertilizer, i.e., calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN). non-invasive technologies, minirhizotron unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) based spectrum sensing, were classic plant soil sampling enhance in-season monitoring crop status. Results showed no significant difference in canopy status, biomass yield or uptake as CAN, except lower DIG treatment. total length detected by revealed higher early-stage availability at rooting zone probably due form supplied showing mobility dry conditions than solid CAN. Given high supply (averagely 70–232 kg ha −1 ) latter growing season this study, early seemed promote luxury plants, resulting significantly p < 0.05) concentrations harvested PM, LFD AW that no-N fertilized control. Therefore, fertilizers, LFD, EVA have potential substitutes additional providing easier accessible crops during seasons, especially global warming which supposed cause frequent drought all over world.

Assessment Maize Hybrids Response to Biological and Chemical Nitrogen Fertilizers
This research set out to evaluate the effect of combined biological and chemical nitrogen fertilizers on some corn hybrids. To this end an experiment was conducted as split plot on the basis of randomized complete block design with four replications. Main plots were included: use of chemical and biological fertilizers in four levels: 100% chemical fertilizer, 75% chemical fertilizer + 100% bio-...
متن کاملSynthetic nitrogen fertilizers deplete soil nitrogen: a global dilemma for sustainable cereal production.
Cereal production that now sustains a world population of more than 6.5 billion has tripled during the past 40 yr, concurrent with an increase from 12 to 104 Tg yr(-1) of synthetic N applied largely in ammoniacal fertilizers. These fertilizers have been managed as a cost-effective form of insurance against low yields, without regard to the inherent effect of mineral N in promoting microbial C u...
متن کاملNitrogen and Carbon Isotope Composition of Organic Fertilizers
Synthetic (e.g. urea) and organic fertilizers (e.g. compost) differed markedly in N isotope composition and the greater the difference between organic and synthetic fertilizer the more robust will be the differentiation of crops and vegetable grown under different farming systems. The objective of this study was to compare nitrogen and carbon isotope composition of organic fertilizers and manur...
متن کاملResponse of Wheat to Azotobacter - Actinomycetes Inoculation and Nitrogen Fertilizers
The aim of this research was to investigate the effect of inoculation (Azotobacter chroococcum and actinomycetes) and nitrogen mineral fertilizers (doses of 60 kg N ha-1 and 120 kg N ha-1) on the yield of wheat and on the number and activity of certain microorganisms in rhizospheric soil. The investigation was carried out in humogley soil with three wheat varieties. The variants of the experime...
متن کاملGreenhouse Experiments with Atmospheric Nitrogen Fertilizers and Related Compounds
In connection with a study at the Fixed Nitrogen Research Laboratory on the possible transformation products of cyanamid, there was obtained a number of materials and mixtures concerning which there is either very little known, or concerning which there is still some doubt as to their fertilizing value. Thus, in the preparation of urephos, a product was obtained in which approximately 55 per ce...
